Degree Overview
Business Skills for a World That Needs Better Ones
Sustainability Management sits at the crossroads of business, environmental science, and public policy — and that's exactly the point. Batten's online Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Management prepares you to help organizations move toward genuine environmental sustainability and social responsibility, not just talk about it. The program is deliberately interdisciplinary, drawing on economics, management, philosophy, policy analysis, and earth science to give you a complete picture of what sustainable practice actually requires. You'll finish with a senior-level experience that ties it all together, either through an internship or a sustainability-focused study away opportunity. Note: students may not double major in Sustainability Management and Environmental Studies due to overlap between the two programs.
